About Royal Children's Hospital Foundation
The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane. Established in 1986 the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation has invested more than $100 million in research, equipment, care, family support and community outreach centres. The Royal Children’s Hospital is the leading paediatric hospital in Queensland. The Royal Children’s Hospital treats over 30 000 children each year from Queensland, northern New South Wales and across Australia and even overseas. The Royal Children’s Hospital is at the leading edge of paediatric care and medical research. More than half the patients admitted to the hospital come from rural and regional areas. The Royal Children’s Foundation helps to make the time spent in hospital easier for sick children and their families.
The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation funds ground-breaking research into diagnoses, treatments and ultimately cures. Dealing with sick children is one of the toughest challenges a family can face. The Royal Children’s Hospital provides a supportive base for sick children and family. By ordering charity flowers through Petals Network a percentage of the total order value will go back to the Royal Children’s Hospital. This funding will ‘work wonders for sick kids’ .
