Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish Australia aims to grants the wishes of
children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Established in 1985, Make-A-Wish Australia is a
non-for-profit organisation which has granted over 5700
wishes to children throughout Australia. Make-A-Wish
Australia is an affiliate of Make-A-Wish International,
which operates in 28 countries. Make-A-Wish provides hope,
joy and happiness to children experiencing the hardest of
times. It provides an enriching opportunity for children to
meet, to do, to have or to be. Due to their illness children
often miss out on the everyday opportunities we take for
granted such as playing sport, missing out on school or
going to the movies. A wish provides children and families
with a precious opportunity filled with joy.
Make-A-Wish Australia depends on a network of volunteers, organisations and the greater community to grant the wishes of hundreds of children each year. To help create the magic and joy for children and young adults you can support Make-A-Wish Australia by ordering charity flowers through Petals Network. A percentage of the total order value goes towards helping a child’s wish come true.
